~ Joey Last Day ~

Kind of sad…Her last day is here le. So far she is the only one whom I really ‘serve’ 全心全意 w/o a single complaint de. I don think can find another leader as nice as her le lor.

With the help of sotong, the reborn of her farewell card.
I actually complete the card infront of joey while chatting w her leh... kekee... was hiding in a meeting room to do the job when she bang in to complete her phone call... ;p

Finally got a chance to eat ice-cream from Icekimo, & FOC somemore leh... ;p

Super heart pain this morning. Now still pain pain leh...

Ah bao was telling us got someone gave birth on one of our cab last fri. I heard & registered 215 thus invested 0215...

This morning boop say it came out le.. & i was still saying where got... then realise should be 2215 & ah bao actually got say the correct one after tat but i donno why never hear leh..

Wa lao!!! angry leh.. usually he very lor-saw one why this time never???

haiz... I also not in the right mood tat day too la... 1K just fly off like tat...

really 注定不是我的 leh..

Dinner @ Marina’s Waraku with this gang.

Fun & yummy session tat last for smelly smelly around 4 hrs ba.

Our part 2 @ Mandarin’s Atrium Lounge tat left only dk, orz, boop, sotong & me nia.
They rest every 夸张 lor, we go one toilet come out nia the whole gang disappear w/o saying bye...

Chat topics here really make me 茅塞顿开 leh, got 深度de ok... a must to keep in mind one.

Yesterday finally i'm a proper 打工女. hehee... got report to do thus whole day good girl.. now i zo-boh again le... ;p

My head is in super pain mood now.. is killing me!!!

nearly 2am then manage to go bed yesterday ma then now feel quite sick-ko leh.. haiz.. heng can rest a bit in this kind of zo-boh stage.

We talk, laugh so much & so loud till now throat also pain pain le..

Dinner at Waraku @ Starhub Centre. We are given a room tat we can 闭门思过 de.. environment not bad. I like the food too... 后遗症 of TW's shabu shabu, i order NABE set "yao yao si-114"... same same got steamboat tat kind lo... cannot beat TW tat one but this one not bad too ;p
First time eat so much sa-shi-mi... somehow today this one i dare to eat & find it not bad wo..

Lunch here. Early farewell makan for big joey as Snow going long tour. 欢乐海鲜小吃 but I lub to call it AMK cheap-po zi-cha. ;p

Go there few times le, always lub the food there.. also donno is mood no good or wat, feel so so nia... super 不满足... (^@^)

Ate a full chocolate ice-cream cone aft it to see mood will better or not.. not much effect leh.. only a bit shiok shiok while munchy on it nia... sin-ful !!

took quite a bit of sinful intakes but no help at all lo...

U have not even stabilised the whole ship why so 大张旗鼓 & greedy; trying to prove wat?

Yesterday still heard news like i know where i will belong liao... today hear another new version saying i'll be under another person??

.: 31/3/2007 ... Destination-台北 / 台中 :.

The last round I ‘fly’ is in 2000 thus I nearly 7 years never step into airport le!! First time go tour w my 三表姐 from Malaysia... very likely this will be the first & the last time le.

This is the starting point of our 贵妇之旅!! Meet quite a number of 萍水相逢 kinds of friend too...

On board SQ872 around 7++am .

Long awaited 飞机餐. Is a breakfast menu. I know many people no like飞机餐 but I find them all delicious de. Hehee... I tham-jiak ma..
Touched down at 台北桃园机场 around 12pm++ . Actual flying time is about 4plus.
Was a bit disappointed as cannot feel any coldness at all leh..

First NT$ spent @ 桃园机场 is this char-siew-pao in case hungry during our way to 台中’s forgotten-where where Tina’s小姨丈 will pick us up.
Our first ticket & public transport(国光客运)

Tina’s 小姨丈 pick us with a 9320-LA from tat bus-stop (shown in previous pic) where tat 国光bus drop us & drive us to 中科大饭店.

I likes this hotel... not bad wor... is said to be a 4 to 5 start hotel... 4 of us fit into tat pretty & well furnished room 1106.

The first night market we ciong is “一中一街”. Lub this 水果糖葫芦. As for the 青蛙下蛋, maybe I donno how to appricate ba... ;p My 观光客-engine not fully started yet thus not much photo taken.

Our 2nd night market 逢甲夜市. It was packed.. feel like I’m at Chinatown during Chinese new year period... hohohoo...
After driving us to 2 diff night markets, Tina’s 小姨丈 drive us back to their house where I first meet Tina & her小姨. All so friendly de. ;p

We then proceed to donno-where to eat dinner @ 鼎王麻辣锅. Yummy and the place was very pretty but too bad, no photo is allow de. Actually can say is our supper as 12am we are still eating & we only leave tat place @ 1am++. This is our very first FOC 大餐.

托 mabel’s 福, we really save quite a lot on food & transport during our 9D there.

Breakfast @ 中科’s Coffee Shop.
There are few PC provided outside the Coffee Shop @ tat is where I first reply mail from oversea...

After breakfast, meet few of Mabel’s friend who is the tour guides of the day.
If I remember correctly they call themselves Han(2), Lan(2) & Da(3) Jie(3)...

First stop is 新设's 千桦庭园咖啡.

Our next destination is lead by花样少年少女’s 后遗症

The school area was super big (school areas, student hostel, teacher estates, etc) tat we walk super long way before finally got to rest @ this ice-cream outlet...

See we actually can sit along the road & eat like tat. Hahaa...

Dinner @ 台湾香蕉新乐园. Is actually a 主题餐厅 where deco all from the old days de. Another nice & full full makan session.

After they drop us off @ hotel, 4 of us still can go supper leh.. cannot believe it... of cause cannot finish whole thing de lor... wahahahaaa...

.: 02/04/2007 ... Destination-埔里/清境 :.

Open my eye around 10am and Mabel already gone out & back w yummy breakfast le ;p

Check out from 中科大饭店 and we now @ house of Tina’s小姨 to tong-bang our luggage so tat Tina able to drive us up 清境 mountain with lightest weight. The bell-uncle nearly break my fleshy hand. Sotong me go put my hand on the door edge while going up the car and while he close the front car door of 9320-LA. Bone pain pain for few days & luckily no visible blue-black.

Pass by & went to visit this埔里酒乡.

All following photos on this same day are taken on our way up 清境 mountain de.
Heard when super cold time, there will be snow here on this mountain one.. too bad never got chance to see it.

This is photo of 碧湖. Finally feel cold cold wind and got ‘smoke’ coming out from our mouth!!!

My first intake of 杏鲍菇. Lub the teast so much tat from tat point on, I will sure buy when I saw it selling anywhere de ;p

清境小瑞士花园 is a nice & pretty garden.

薰衣草森林 is where we first time eat lavender ice-cream & settle 手信s for office ka-kis.

Never like goat product but this one nice nice. First time find mua-ji yummy...

Most of stores already closed when we reach here. Donno how to appreciate their 酸菜夹心豆干 but I lub the 酸菜笋汤 from this same store.

Reach & check into莫内花园山庄. Is a 民宿. Nice & cool cool place.
With an 阁楼, 2 bed & 1 extra mattress, 5 of us manage to fit into tat room.

Dinner at another 民宿 kind of place just next to our 莫内民宿. Was raining so heavily tat night when we walk out to there tat I really feel COLD. Temperature of 10 degree I think. Tat is the lowest temperature I hit during my stay @ TW le. Shiok. ;p
Heard 过桥米线 before but never got chance to try. Tat is a kind of food tat suits tat kind of temperature I think. Yummy!!

.: 03/04/2007 ... Destination- 台北/五分埔 :.

Home made breakfast. Simple but yummy.
Was forcasted tat this morning or next will snow one but no have leh…
While leaving tat place down the mountain, it is still very cold & foggy that the road almost cannot see.. quite scary actually.

Nice shoot while reaching our next destination.

This is 观音桥. The entrance there got a 石碑 labeled 观音瀑布 but I cannot find waterfall anywhere leh... should be more deep in ba...

This destination is their 国立(Chi)南国际大学. Another后遗症 of 花样少年少女. This time car can go in thus not much walking is needed. We visit some of the ‘shooted places’.

As I only finish tat show half way nia, the only place I can recognize so far is that field where 吴尊 did his 跳高！hahaa...

We at 日月潭 by now. Was very foggy that not much thing can be seen. Went for lunch @ 涵碧楼.

This lunch really make me feel very 贵妇 leh ;p

This is涵碧楼纪念馆. Hide one corner beside the grand grand hotel.

After collecting back our luggage from house of Tina’s 小姨, 2 of them sent us to 高铁台中站 to take their bullet train to 台北.

From the 高铁台北站, we buy our first ticket to their 捷运MRT. Drop off @ 忠孝复兴 station & go check in to our booked hotel – Déjà Vu Hotel

We ga-na cheated by those photo in the internet. The room is super small tat hardly any walking space & facilities look lousy de... Within an hour or so, 贵妇们 came to a decision to change hotel as our 美女空姐 got good lobang to a 5 star hotel.

We took their 小黄 (Taxi) to our 2nd hotel @ 台北. Sheraton Taipei.
Piew... is totally different kind of feeling when we step in lor.. and from here, our 贵妇之旅 manage to continue...

五分埔夜市 is our next destination after settle down. This is the place I brought my first piece of clothing.

.: 04/04/2007 ... Destination- 乌来/剑潭 :.

First time meet another Mabel's friend; JianHua who came to hotel drive us go out play. He is Tina’s 表兄弟.

Have a traditional chinese breakfast @ 世界豆浆大王. This mark the most yummy & impressive breakfast. I miss the taste of tat 水饺 kind of thing & tat sweet sweet 千层糕 (not our kway-la-pi, is tat square white thing).. ;p

吃饱喝足, we head our way up 乌来 mountain.
Why leh? 贵妇团 going all the way up there just to 泡温泉 @ 春秋乌来!!

Was fun but hor super hot hot for me. Took me quite a while to cool myself down after tat. hahaaa...
& due to too much ice water to cool myself, I'm the shi-shi-queen of the day..
wahahahaaaa...

This is 碧桥 which reside on top of 碧潭. Windy & cooling..

Lunch @ this pretty little restaurant just beside 碧潭. Suddenly look at the picture donno how to read its' 招牌. I shall read it as "阳光。花与水". Super lub all those 器皿 tat they use to serve our foods.. rice in tat big cup leh!! simply make them more yummy... ;p

After headed back hotel to drop our barang barang & for JianHua to tong-bang his car, We 出发 again. Take 捷运 from the 善道寺 station tat is just beside our hotel, to 台北车站 station. Then headed for 台北站的台湾故事馆.

Is another branch of the previous 香蕉新乐园 tat we went the other day but this one more '景点' for us to see & play...

eating cold stuff in cold cold temperature is the most shiok thing...

Next stop is to take 捷运 from the 台北车站 station to 剑潭 station then change bus to 美丽华..
Super pretty 夜景 but my skill not professional enough to catch it on camera ;p

Little snack before living 美丽华.

Back to 剑潭 station, 士林夜市 is just opp the station. Shopping & eating time again!!!

I look forward to tat 豪大大鸡排 far before i go there tat I order one full one for myself while the rest of the share one. 满足 but in the end i full till not much space to accommodates other goodies... ;p
Donno we sway or wat, during our short short period there, police came 扫荡 those illegal 路边摊 2 times leh. Never saw any police but was like walk walk half way u see the whole stretch of mobile stores suddenly slowly move out of the street in very orderly way then a while later then came back. Not like those we saw in hongkong movie where people run & push their thing in high speed. This one is super organized 扫荡. ;p

After tat then realise it quite ex leh.. $5 in S$ just ga-na 'eaten' within sec while our own big sweep only $3 & can carry our hopes for a month...

.: 05/04/2007 ... Destination-台北101/ 淡水 :.

Today able to sleep till afternoon thus early finish preparing nothing to do take some photo outside our hotel room.

出发 again!! Went 大安 station then take their LRT to forgotten where...like I forgotten to take photo of my destination leh. ;p

after buying a few traditional slot-type tickets, decided to get ourselves a beep-beep card. Just like our Ezlink card lo. They name it 悠游卡. Usable on both train & buses too.

yummy yummy!!! this mark the best lunch i have in TW.
This one i donno how to read or type in chinese... donno wat XX刷刷锅 but is call Shabu Shabu ;p
Each person got our own personal steamboat to look after.. I never eat so much vegi in my life leh.. was so tasty tat i slowly finish up all. Imagin tat big bowl of vegi tat is seen-able and those hidden under the meat to support them.. Was super super super duper yummy leh.. original aim to return there to eat before returning singapore de but our tight schedule don allow lo..

miss it so much ;p

台北101 is our next stop. We go there by 小黄... Is actually so-called one of the 世界七大工程奇观.

Went up to their 观景台@ 89th floor to have an bird-eye-view of 台北.

Lub this 'toy'. They divides the round glass windows into different sections. U just key in the number labelled on the section & they will describe for u wat u are seeing from left to right.(wat ever u can see on tat section's window lor).

Not tall enough @ 89th floor, we went up higher to the 'roof top' (still got higher la but we only allow to go up till 91st floor nia).. actually disappointed as all blocked with iron-fances.. leaving only little gaps to look out.. not shiok at all lor, the glass window downstair is much better.

This is my biggest ‘investment’ in TW.

This building is just next to 101. I totally ga-na hooked to this mua-ji tat taste so good. Diff from those ready-packet de. Really will 上瘾 de...

Took 小黄 back to hotel to drop our barang barang again then fast fast make our way to 淡水.
Cannot quite remember where exactlly but think this is where I first meet JianHua’s bro – JianDa.

We snack again @淡水客船码头.

Here is where I grep my 铁蛋s... another item then I aim far before I go there.

Finally get my hand on this super long ice-cream. Tell u lor.. look nice nia... not nice to eat at all... yucks!!

Long time no take ‘boat’ le.. hehee... excited.

@ 淡水渔人码头 and the pretty bridge is 情人桥. The place is very romantic leh... 几感触一下... haiz...

Took this bus back to main island as by the time we finish with our visiting, ‘boat’ no more liao..
Forgotten how I go back hotel tat night after the bus ride le... think is by train ba... hehee... ;p

.: 06/04/2007 ... Destination-瑞芳 / 九份 :.

This is a day where I get to know more new friends. All Mabel’s friends.
Went 忠孝复兴 station to meet Val then to 台北车站 station to meet another 4 more pax.

Went to this 中山地下街 to have our breakfast. Not bad at all ;p

Choo-choo-train time!!
Got to stand on this train for 45min leh.. no more sit when we go buy ticket. Already not much standing space le they can still push a 便当车 through the narrow walk way on the train to sell lunch box leh.. faints...

Finally reach 瑞芳车站.

Bus Queue is so long tat donno where is the tail. Queuing for 小黄 up to九份 mountain is another problem. Got queue like no have lor.. people behind the queue or from the middle just flag & go de... end up we 来阴的 too... really work but feel bad... when hoping up the cab, hear a group of teenagers scolding us “没品”… this phase keep coming into my mind lor ;(

Usually people go there will walk down from the top de but I 咸菜命... We have to drop off the cab half way as got jam... here is where my nightmare begins... many many many stairs waiting for me!!!
Really a lot!! Nearly 挂掉 lor... Stairs are my 致命伤 leh... and u don khow how much more is waiting in front of u... when almost reaching the top, will be shocked to find another tall long stretch is there waiting for u (~_~)...

Anyway, I still succeed.

Think this is the highest point we reach ba. More stairs but as there is long queue, go up super slowly...No more stair claiming after this point le ;p
Order our thing on ground floor then go deep into 民宅 & up a floor to a balcony like eating area... as we walk, saw few station of their ‘production-line’

Give us the 苦尽甘来 kind of feeling... Another yummy input ;p

Tour guide’s flag fall back to hand of JianHua again.

Breakfast @ McD nearby our hotel. Sausage is pork de. Actually not much diff.. if no say I also donno.. ;p

Go to 士林 station then take 小黄 up mountain. Was chatting w tat friendly cab uncle till one stage he suddenly want my contact & wanna match me for me w his relative leh...

Original destination is 竹子湖 de but JianHua’s cab suddenly stop half way thus we all follow... 原来 the driver of his cab is so-call the leader of the taxi group then he break the law by not wanting to follow taxi meter & don wanna say how much to collect when reach 竹子湖. Tat ‘leader’ even order our taxi uncle to follow... so bad.

No prob la... 小插曲 only, people from 游客中心 teach us go up via 小九. Tat little yellow bus is the one.. wat a cute name.

Without much walking, input again ;p Was quite cooling up there then this warm warm sweet potato is just nice. Sweet & yummy. ;p

海芋田 all over the place lor.. so pretty!!

花钟@杨明公园 is our next target. Walk quite a distance up but heng not tat difficult in those cool cool temperature ;p To me tat 花钟 is quite pretty le but they are saying flower session passed le else u will not see green color one.. whole thing should be full of flowers de.

Took a bus down from杨明公园 to 北投 station where we took train to 中正纪念堂 station.
This is the prettiest station I see there so far. Very diff from the other stations.

Very 壮观 ba... hehee... I lazy to climb up those stairs to the top of that中正纪念堂 thus only took some pic on the ground.

We back @ 西门町 to fulfill Adeline’s craving for 牛肉面.

Went to this temple tat is sandwiched between those style-lo shops. Time not enough thus only use hand to prey prey a bit nia... manage to make wishes... (^_^)

The last time I buy mua-ji in TW before heading back hotel. So heart pain, dollar shortage le thus cannot buy more back thus only buy 3 little one to fulfill my own craving.

When back hotel to put our thing & collect XiaoZhi’s cake then head our way to 海山 station. Going to JianHua’s house as his family treating us makan @ this 台湾小吃.

The way they label their toilet make me blur a few sec...

Went to their Giant for some shopping. Tat is where I grep my Hello Kitty CDs... Nearly buy a 2G HelloKitty thumb drive @ $60++ but end up decided not to... regrets after tat & keep thinking of it leh...

Back at their house, got a little belated birthday celebration for XiaoZhi. Cute little child. Think is 小姨’s son. The cake from our hotel very yummy leh...

海山 is my last touched 捷运 station. Look @ our train coverage in 台北.
Red one is our own station then those black one are those tat we traveled to all those days.

Tat night, I pack luggage to passed 2am leh... try my best to fit all my barang barang into 1 luggage w/o making use of spare bag lor... succeed after got inspired by the air-tide-packing method of rice back @ Giant. (^_^)v

Time to go home le... sad...

3 of us sit JianDa’s care while the rest sit his dad’s car. His dad even buy us 爱心早餐. First time eat so much 紫菜 as this one really nice leh ;p

Yummy 飞机餐 again. This time round is lunch. First one is mine. Nice nice. Adeline don wanna eat but she order just to let me try try the 2nd menu... no like her set. Got Haagen-Dazs ice-cream leh!!! Shiok!

Through the total of 8 hours (time flying to and back from TW), I manage to catch 4 movies. All I aimed before but no chance to go watch de. Eragon-nice & excited. Rob-B-Hood-funny & touching, lub tat baby. Pan’s Labyrinth-watch till I keep falling asleep. Happy Feet-Nice & keep remind me of tat March of Penguin... but not enough time for me to finish leh... thus no ending for this one ;(

While reaching Changi Airport, they announce the temperature is 30degrees, I nearly faint.. more then double while in TW leh... although still in aircon place, I start to sweat while waiting for my 表姐 to combine her barang barang into my spare bag as she last minute need to rush back JB immediately...

Sent her to woodlands checkpoint before heading home myself. Home sweet home but when I see my Beemuu2, nearly fainted.

Without lub & aircon, left ¼ of the leaf nia!!! My mom got water for me but it don help... Cut off 20 over piece of bad leaf leh...
So heart pain!!!!!!!!!!!

Donno if those cool temperature really suits me, I’m suprised by my own stamina leh... did so much walking all these days but don feel tired or pain at all... No MC after come back too ;p

Other then few toys gana robbed home by my nephew&nieces, few pieces of new clothing, tour booklets, paper bags collected; these are all the barang barang I ‘fly’ back. Can u believe they actually add up to weight 16.5kg!!!
Is true lor, when I set off, my luggage is 12kg. Back time it actually grow to 28.5kg.
It sure puts on quite a lot over the past 9 days..
Hahaa…

If got chance to go there again, other then the 太阳饼 which i don quite like, these will be my sure buy thingy. PLUS my mua-ji!!!

While unpacking my thing, I found tat I still got 3K of NT$ leh (around $150)... hide in another compartment of my bag till I forgotten all about them... angry leh... I want to buy mua-ji!!!!
