~ ‘Busy’ ~

Like so many activities took place today.
让我一一列出 ;p

1st, it is yvonne’s last day. So 羡慕 her new look now.

After so many days, finally finish my problematic reports. Too bad there are more to come but no care first as now I 又过了一关 ;p
With tat suddenly feel like clearing my desk a bit. Then in the afternoon, a 扫地aunty come and ask me “你要走了har”. Not thinking much I told her no as knock off time not up yet leh. Guess wat she say? She thought I’m throwing le as suddenly my desk so clean. Ha haa!!

Lunch. Got free & yummy lunch as we join a 保险 de talk from ACE I think. Find they offer cheap package especially for parents de. Cannot decide actually but decided to use their 30days free first then decide. Oh ya, they got lucky dip B4 they start & me is one of the 3 lucky winner. Nothing great. Just a first aids pouch nia but better then nothing. 战利品still in office thus no photo to show off. ;p Suddenly realize something while typing, all 3 winner from IT leh!! Liling won a bag & Haihua from cablink won a wireless mouse.

Gossip. Suspect we need to have farewell very soon ba. Already feeling 老二 is acting funny recently le. Then suddenly receive call from DBA who say hear some news outside that she leaving and ask if true. I’m shock lor. Angry w her!! I 毫无保留 de told her all my suspects but she simply refuse to tell me how/where she got her news!! NOT FAIR!

As they all go meeting thus got sometime to gossip & chat w sew hoe, ask if she got any news and she say kala actually told her someone from IT is leaving but never told her who. Like possibility is hitting high le leh.
Donno Y, although I sometime no like老二 but now I’m feeling sort of 彷徨 leh.. a bit don wish tat it really happen leh..

Beauty Talk. After knock off, went for this talk as we got 2 hrs empty slot B4 our first company 普度 dinner. Did not learnt much as we no chance to touch those makeup stuff. Only can see demo nia.. but glad to know tat my panda-eye is easily solve once I sleep early & do some eye massage. ;D

Once tat talk end, we headed straight to our普度 dinner. Say to start at 19:30 but it actually starts only 9pm wo. 9 of us (me, joey, sew hoe, mabel, Jolene, liling, tung hock, derrick, ah bao) ‘fit’ ourselves into a table that I find a bit small leh. Really ‘tide-fitting’ de and our chop-stick keep hitting each other. ;p

Ah bao is the only non-IT pax who somehow arranged to join our table then derrick was trying to chase him away to go join his own dept on another table tat is under-pax but her refused and decided to eat both side.

Ha haa..
Quite fun actually with lots of laughter but the 上菜 speed super slow leh. Wait till a bit sleepy at times..

While ‘enjoying’ the super noisy 喊摽 sound, mabel receive a sms from boop who wanna jio us to go KTV. We R shocked by this unexpected invitation but still decided to Onz her. Too bad the rest all don wanna xiao with us. Ha haa… And I ask my dad who already on his way to fetch me, to turn back home. It was just now then found that he already reach CC building when I call him le.

So pai say…

Mabel & me left @ around 11pm to go join boop. Dinner still not finish yet wo, donno they will last how long. 3 of us ends up @ AMK’s K-box and have my 1st KTV session with them. Only nearly 2 hours there nia as they close-shop @ 1am de. Find the room & sound system a bit lousy.. Still find party world is better.

~ 995 ~

My little Ting Ting really scares me to death this morning.
She 惊风 leh!

When I brushing teeth, hear she awake & cry le then my sis who carrying her out told me she fever liao. Thought it was normal normal grow-teeth-fever as her temperature was not those very high de.

没放在心上, I continue w my normal routine of cloth changing & hair touch-up.. Half way though, suddenly hear my sis cry & shout Ting Ting’s name very loudly. Faster rush out then saw Ting Ting already half conscious and my mom is putting her finger into Ting Ting’s mouth le. Her face is so pale that her mouth & eye area turn black!! I really shocked by this scenes and mind blanked for a second before I pick up the phone @ dial 995.

While waiting for ambulance, she like ok/relaxed a bit le but can still know she have not fully regain her conscious yet as her 眼神 and reaction still not right lor. Then my dad was rushing me to 出门 as he think will be ok le. I was fighting very hard to decide whether to wait & follow them to hospital or go work. In the end, still decided to go office after passing my sis some cash.

My heart was popping very hard lor. Even reach office le my heart still not with me lor then the picture keep coming into my mind… Only manage to 放心 when my sis sms me that Ting Ting is ok le. Doc say likely will occur again de thus tat really worried me wo..

When I reach home, she is already back to normal & walking/playing around liao.. Cannot ta-han myself, first thing I did was to carry her & hug her real hard.

Hope I will never see tat happening again.

~ Ga-na Sa-boh-ed ~

Today marks my most pek-chek day @ 383.

Nearly 2 days liao, really stressed by a stupid report that I comfirmed working liao de but only print 'No record found' through front end. Boots keep chasing for it leh. Really don know where goes wrong & do until I wanna break down.

Already feeling very pek-chek liao, got news tat I need to go DR to do FMS testing. Then no one can tell me wat to test & how to go about it leh. Joey only give me a list after discussing w HC and very 'broad' de lor. Is like almost all module need to test leh...

B4 I got chance/time to go ask HC wat to test actually, her hand-leg very fast lor. In meeting, say "..go into daily option and look thought the options & prepare yourself..."

Like so easy?

How about tat list that she told joey need to test de leh?

I'm really afraid. Look like will be going there alone then got problem who will help me? I don event know how those different programs work leh. Got time for me to R&D how they work meh?

Feeling super down & helpless with all the problems & worries lor..

nearly wanna cry..

Back to tat stupid report. Super 多灾多难 leh. It was later then found tat I have been pointing to wrong table & DB instance while front end is pointing to another DB instance!!

ANGRY leh.. HC is the one who told me to point to tat table & DB instance de leh. TMD!!

Then after pointing to correct table & DB instance liao, it only willing to print out a short report once then refuse to work for other selection choice le. Thinking my thing go problem then debug here & there till even short report also cannot work le. :(

Tried different ways till no more ideas of how to solve as it is really ok on my local pc..

B4 knock off , decided to go to HC who then check backend log and tell me "actually your report is completed already just the front end somehow got problem and never display it"

WTH!!! Ga-na sa-boh by an 不是人的 hardware!!

Unbalanced la!!

Hope tat it can really work when put up to test server else need to stressed again.

Finally, I can throw my thought aside & go meet mushroom with GY & DK. Dinner at Mr Bean's 24Hrs Cafe @ Selegie. Food nice nice wo then not expensive also. Finally can feel relaxed and really laugh out from the heart; after a whole solid day. 4 of us can chat & laugh there for nearly 3.5 hours wo..

~ 又是七月 ~

So fast and again； here come the month that I will 疑神疑鬼 very often de.

This year, our office got few auntie who jio people to pool $ to buy thing & prey the 好兄弟 and, old Bee also join lor. ;p So late evening, few of us gather @ side gate for the 仪式. A very simple & small scale one.

Heng not hot and super windy. Shiok, but tat cause problem to 'set fire' on those 香 & candles. Sort of fun leh.. then sew hoe was chanting "保佑老板每天都心情漂亮，笑眯眯的" while preying leh.. kekee...

After prey prey finish, is to burn 金冥纸 lor. I burn till my face all red like apple wo.. ha haaa..

Then while I was very onz w the 金冥纸, donno who say: "eh yours boss leh".

When I look up, backside of 84 is right infornt on me!! Boot donno wanna go where lor... nearly siam bo lor. Then those aunties all try to 'under cover' for me.. ;p

Think she never see me ba.. else hor she must be asking herself why her girl is with a group of auntie buring 金冥纸 by the road side.

whahahaha..

This is my first 7th mth @ 383... now hor feel more 'safe' after having a chance to prey the 好兄弟 around it lor.

~ Makan Session AGAIN ~

Another heavy makan session. Still feeling wanna die like this till now.. Sure put on weight if this continues de. ;p

No special occassion, just a normal meet up with those whom left CC years ago & at same time for those finance people to meet ah yap again.

Total 13 of us 排排坐 in Toa Payoh's Swensens. It is the same table tat I last when there to celebrate JO's birdday last year wo. Air con still no improve. No cold air de.

As our head count increase, the whole restaurant is full of our voice & laughter lor. Super noisy leh us. Till one stage when John wanna confirm something & want us all to keep quite and once we did so, suddenly the whole restaurant is silent de wo..

We R the root cause of the noise pollution!!

Ha ha haa.

Ok. Must specially thanks John, he really gave us very personalised service lor. Today then I realise he know an 杂技 leh. His pair of ear can move front & back as and when he want de. Without using his hand de lor. So cute leh. Jo, try to master his 杂技 leh.. he hee..

Let me see got who. hmm. looks like it cross departmental makan leh. IT's 代表 got JO, ah chan, DBA, EA & me lor. Finance's 代表 got theresa, stalla, esther, ah gu & ah yap. HR got Adeline plus CCC's 芝乐 & Engineering's lay khim (don know her actually & she only know Jo as her PR is better ;p).

Aiyo, where is ah gu? take photo also donno how to 探头 leh.. go hide behind esther and only see a bit bit of her cheek. Took 2 shots both the same. 故意的hor? Tat Lay khim also leh; hide behind stella..next time meet on the street I confirm still don know her de.

And hor I 'smell' something fishy lor. Got someone keep asking me some funny questions & some secretive discussion going on.. Attempted to find out but ga-na 敷衍 leh... don know if really nothing to do w me or not leh.

I over sensitive le?

Overall, is a enjoyable & fun night.

Got news yesterday tat Ah eve’s mom passed away. It was a sudden one to her with no signal at all..

Really lor, 今天不懂明天事. Anything can happen anytime de. We must all 珍惜 our loved one & friends when we still got the chance. We don know when we will lost them de lor.

~ Gathering for Ah Bao's B-Day ~

Got another round of gathering & play session today. This time the 主角 is ah bao lor. It was his birdday yesterday but have to put our gathering today so tat most people can make it. :)

Reach plaza sing @ 10:40. Went there earlier as need to buy something from spotlight lor. When I’m done, still early leh thus have to roam around while waiting for 11:30 to reach.

Finally is about time le thus proceed to The Manhattan Fish Market to chop for sits as they don allow table booking de. I’m their first customer of the day leh. Then was a bit disappointed as my whole gang all late wo. The first person who appear is late for 20 min and the last group who finally show face, late for > 40min leh!!! How can like this de. I just find it not right lor.

准时是一种美德 wah..
End up I sa-tu-orang sit inside like 傻瓜 like this. Nothing to do. Went though menu a number of times then decided to play handphone game to keep myself company lor. ;(

The bad mood slowly went off as pax slowly appear & things starts to move on correct track together w the joy & laughers. Then is the food. Not bad. Yummy!! Find it nicer then “yu & gong shi”.

吃饱喝足 liao, mushroom, gy, jo, ah soon, gigi, ah bao & me proceed to catch our movie after parting w beemu whom left earlier, EA & DBA. When to catch Pirates Of The Caribbean @ new cinema – The Cathay.

Love this new cinema. Sits comfortable & the theater is pretty leh. Got a stage de. I actually bo bian have to book a row tat is 7th row from the front as all other fully booked le. But hor it turn out great leh. Just nice as if we sitting in front of the screen with no blockage, because in front of us is a corridor walk way.
I like the show very much also leh. Good one. Then I likes tat Jack (the Pirate head), find him so cute.. ;p

Oh ya. Must mention this. When we there, found a guy sitting on one of our sit then I was really blur-ed when found tat show, cinema, timing on both our ticket all correct leh. Then how come we got ticket crash? Thinking tat their computer go bugs, when to a cinema staff who helps to investigate then realize hor.. Tat sotong came on the wrong day!!! His ticket is for Sun instead of Sat de.
Whahahaa.. this also can happen. ;p

The show lasted for 2 hrs 40 min. Although quite long but u will not feel it lor. Show nice nice and the chair so comfortable. Next time wanna watch long long de movie must go there. ;p

Next program is our favorite KTV lor. This time we went to the Cuppage’s party world. Had to walk from Cathay to Cuppage. Meet john and ‘parts’ with gigi & ah soon there and rest of us have 4 hours of singing fun. Got think where is our dinner? Sotong planner (me) plans all program one after another with little empty time tat I forgotten to plan our dinner!! No dinner till 10pm? Heng hor party world now can call for McD de. Else hor I guilty leh.. they where got strength to sing if no dinner? Ha haa..

Our very last program of the day was to walk all the way from cuppage to ser-ly-gi’s donno where to eat 豆花.. tat make me walk pass PS for the 3rd time today. Walk till I tired & sticky (think break my walking record le).. hee.. while keep fan-ing myself, we chat & gossip there for sometime B4 heading home.
Overall, a pleasant day.

~ My 1st Facial Session ~

Was very excited the whole day as 吃了这么多年, me going for my first ever facial session leh.. and also, ah yap joining too thus me can take photo w her le.. ;p

Then after lunch hor, all of us suddenly realize we 没政府 wo. With that enjoyed a nice and peaceful afternoon.

Finally time has reach where we can knock off le. So, me, liling, & meihua proceed to UCARA @ Chinatown’s Hong Lim Complex. My heart was beating very fast lor.. 几紧张一下 lor.

When it is my turn, tat lady over there told me : “ U can go in to change first.” I got a shocked & asked I only facial nia thus Y must change de. Then she say need de as they got shoulder massage to go with facial de. My first reaction was “ Cham ah!! Where got clothing of my size in this kind of place de!?” Don dare to ask, just go in lor.. Heng hor, is ‘sa-long’ de and can fit lor.. hee..

Now then know facial got so many different steps on a face de. Then the most 印象深刻 de is when she put a super hor tower on my face. Nearly wanna faint & I cannot breath leh. Then is wat called ‘Extraction’ tat help to remove black head & clogs. Pain pain leh. Then is tat shoulder massage. My first time having solid shoulder massage also. Super super super pain till I wanna tears & shout out leh. wonder Y people love massage leh.. hee

Originally, it should be a 1 hr session de. But they drag here & drag there and end up my whole session took 2 hrs leh. So shock to know that I finish together w meihua who when for both facial & whole body massage. No wonder while I’m in there, felt how come the 1hr like so long de.

Overall, still find it fun la.. ha haa.. then poor ah yap was saying after massage, she whole body especially her back wanna fall apart le. So funny..

Our next task was to have some photo taking then proceed to people park market for dinner. Ordered few different different items to share share. Yammy. My last task of the day was to send Ah yap to woodlands interchange lo. Have a nice long chat w her while on the way but hor tat old taxi ah pek hor keep disturbing and wanna talk to ah yap leh..

hmm.. he likes ah yap more then me. kekee.. :p

~ Taxi aka 吸血鬼 ~

The day has come for the taxi fare increase. I HATE tat stupid whoever who come out with this stupid idea of increasing the fare. 硬把 whatever difficulties/high cost 加筑再我们身上. Leave us with no choice lor. It is like if we wanna continue enjoy taxi rides, have to 认命..

This really affect me leh.. I already 中毒 and don seem to be able to avoid cab liao wo ;(

I feel that if U increase by few cents (which they r doing to meter rates also) then more acceptable, but they hiong hiong go & double the peak hours surcharge!! They hor, knowing most people will take cab withing peak hour, love to ter-kan peak hours' pricing la.

Imagin if peak hour need to book cab to go town; w those ERPs, chao chao also more then $10 fly liao without even U set off lor.

吸血鬼!!

Not long ago, act good guy to decrease booking fee of non-peak to $2.50; BUT hiong hiong go & increase booking fee of peak to $4!! Still dare to say they donno how many years never increase taxi fare le.. like real lor..

With tat, we still got a choice. I long time no book for a cab le lor.. even heavy rain, i also take 雨伞 and slowly wait. I don care if i will late or not le.. $$ is more important.

Tell U lor, so many years of into taking cabs, this is the first time i hope other color's cab came instead of tat nice comfortable blue or yellow.. and lucky me, today's lunch manage to take a TIBs & going home manage to get a red de. ;D

Wa lao!! while typing this, saw from TV's scrolling message that 2 other cab companies is going to follow their big brother to charge the same rates from next week onward. And another company is still considering.. WTF!!!

Y they wanna follow? So super hope tat the big brother can 自食其果 when no one wanna take their cabs.

~ 世事难料 ~

It is very true lor. Happily come to work and lunch time still happily go for lunch, joke & laugh then after working hard for a whole day, someone tell U tat U ga-na retrenched!! Find it so 无情 lor. Last time they do in early in the morning then tat day still got pay de. Now? Dried U till last minute to make it worth?

Upon stepping into my house, Theresa called & tell me tat ah yap, siew mei & cindy kua ga-na retrenched. Really shocked lor. Thought 100% no more retrenchment le then suddenly like this.

Sort of heart pain leh. I lub ah yap and so sad to know tat I cannot C her again liao. Although Theresa say will jio her out for makan but I don think ah yap will came lor.
Luckily, today mei hua jio-ed her to lunch w us and at least got a last chance to lunch together. Not knowing wat is coming, we still make fun & earn laughter from her…

I very 遗憾 leh. Known her for 三年零八个月, Not saying no chance to say official ‘Good Bye’, I never got a chance to take pair photo w her leh ;( Search through all my photos took w CC people, the ‘nearest’ I get w her in photo is this one taken in 2004's year end party @ bottle tree leh. Sad…

~ Man of Steel ~

Got a dates w 美宝 and Jolene today after work. At first got serene too but too bad she last minute need to go study...

First, dinner @ MOS as usual then caught another movie again. Hee.. this time is Superman Returns. Nice nice. Quite long wo. Around 2.5 hrs ba.

Donno why, I still like tat old 'superman' whom I watch during my school days. Tat one, donno who; I find him more man & 帅 leh.. This younger version.. hmm.. not say 不帅 but he is more to boyish-cute and less 沧桑 feeling. The 大坏蛋s in the show also very funny lor.. oh ya. superman here got a cute superman-junior wo. ;p

Not bad overall la.

Story wise, suit my taste too. Got lo-man-tic de, got 亲情 de, and got 紧张 de.. I super love the part where he stop the plane from crashing into the base-ball field. ;p

So 英雄 lor.. hee...

After talking about good man, wanna complaint about a irritating one.

There is this stupid indian man who sit beside me. Super irritating lor. Like to shake his leg. I hate man who shake leg & cannot sit still de. His lady partner keep tapping his leg to stop him from shaking le but he just cannot ta-han long lor.. Worst part is halfway he keep using his hairy elbow to ter-kan mine; put his feets on chair and lean part of his super long banned leg toward my sit area. Don know how to describe. U imagin ba.

Then worst worst part is after sometime, he even starts to lean his body toward me. He think he wat!! He should lean toward his wife/girlfriend de wa.. hai me have to keep 'shifting' toward mabel cm by cm.. ;(

~ 打倒病魔 ~

Just completed my monthly report & can blog lo.

Wanna announce that I succeed le. That is after under depression for 40 over hrs. My sicko labtop only able to shut its eye to rest when I cannot take it & needs to shuts my own eyes… Finally it can declare 康复 @ 17:00 liao. Really feel like the line that ‘小燕子’ love to say :“快乐的像老鼠!!”

All credits goes to a McAfee Maniac named Paullotion from Ediburgh,UK and not forgetting the McAfee’s Forum lor. If not for this service, I sure die with my 半桶水 IT skill de.
~ shame. shame ~

It all starts with a stupid Trojan called Generic Downloader.bl. Keep getting virus prompt and net surfing becomes super slow. After many rounds of downloading, scanning both locally & online. Manage to kill it.
But there is this stupid prompt tat keep coming out saying my pc is in danger every minute. PC still super slow.. It really make me wanna go crazy while fighting the sickness. Tried many ways then finally solved by SmitFraudFix.
Lastly is my desktop ga-na hijacked by a dark blue screen instead of my clear water island tat look super peaceful. It was finally solved by AntiPuper.

What a horrible encounter. Really scare me like end of the world although it is not those type of super powerful virus tat crash your PC. But tat is already enough to ‘kill’ me le lor.. cannot take another round of this man...

~ Another Farewell Makan ~

Yesterday was Soh Wah’s last official day in 383 le. Will be posted to HQ lor. Most of the CC’s financial team felt sad. Thus after work, joined a super big gang for her farewell makan.

Really super big group wo. 20 of them but only few whom I know de, the rest are all stranger to me. Actually a bit 冲动 when agree to join them when Theresa jio me. Forgotten to ask who is going and I agreed le. Only when confirmation mail out le then realize I going w a big group of strangers. 后悔也来不及了thus go lor.

Guess where we eat? Sakura @ orchard wo. When think of Sakura, it remind me of Ah Gu ‘s lamb chop mountain & Gi Gi’s 发财锅! Ha haa.. It give me a feeling of not nice after going to TPY’s branch for gigi’s farewell last time. But orchard one not bad wo. Nice nice.

Heng the whole session turns out quite enjoyable as those people R so cartoon & funny. Make me laugh till wanna cry liew. At first just wanna take photos w soh wah & those pax who I know de but donno y turn out to be a super photo session wo. We took so much photos.. nearly 40 photos for this 3 hrs session wo..

Cannot believe it. But is fun..

Long time no eat so much during dinner time liao.. and my baby almost wanna 出世 liao.. felt especially so when the cab ‘jumps’ while on our way back. Theresa even wanna vomit. Scare me to hell.. heng she manage to control. Hahaa..

After the happy hours, bad new was actually waiting for me @ home leh.
My labtop ga-na virus!!
Labtop also sicko like its owner le. After so many years of using PC, first time caught virus leh. Frightening as I really IT 半桶水 and have no knowledge to solve it leh.

Bo Bian lor, 硬着头皮上, donno who to turns to also in the middle of the night. Spend many hours searching for tat stupid virus cure but cannot even find exact virus cure anywhere leh.. It was nearly morning le when I cannot take it liao. Head very pain & giddy le.. Decided to give up but posted SOS on mcafee’s forum. Got response leh but is really time consuming & long procedure using my slow slow dial up.

First time stay online for coming 24 hour leh. This mth's bill confirm 没眼看 le.

Done a few different downloads & scanning. Till now late evening liao and sky going to become dark again but tat web based activescan still haven finish scanning wo. Really hope I able to ‘战胜病魔’..
